Advanced Practice Paramedic Lambert Selected for EMS Training Chief

Today, October 21, 2010, Joseph Zalkin, Chief of Emergency Response and Professional Development, announced Charles “Gene” Lambert has been promoted to EMS Training Chief.

“Gene has an extensive background in public safety including over 20 years as a paramedic within the Wake County EMS System and 15 years as a deputy with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.  Gene has held multiple roles within the public safety field including; contract agency chief, field training officer, and instructor for law enforcement and EMS.  Most recently, Gene has been serving as an advanced practice paramedic.”

Gene will begin his new role on November 1, 2010 and will oversee the BLS Programs.
